Summary

Radish is designed to keep grocery receipt data on your device. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs, we do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not automatically upload your receipts.

Information Radish stores on your device

  • Receipt records you scan or enter manually.
  • Receipt line items, categories, totals, dates, and review edits.
  • Essential or optional marks you apply to item families.
  • A local household identifier and local household secret used to protect your local data.
  • Your study-data consent setting, if you change it.

This information is stored locally by the app. It is not automatically sent to Radish.

Camera and receipt scanning

Radish asks for camera access so you can scan paper grocery receipts. The scan and receipt text processing are designed to happen on device on supported iPhones. If scanning is unavailable, you can enter a receipt manually.

Exports you choose

Radish may let you export data through the system share sheet. These exports happen only when you choose them.

  • Household bundles can be shared or imported to move receipt data between your own household devices.
  • Study bundles are off by default and contain aggregated or pseudonymous diagnostic information, not raw item names, store names, prices, or dates.

Purchases

Radish subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple may process purchase, payment, and subscription information according to Apple's own policies. Radish receives only the entitlement information needed to unlock the app.

Website privacy

This website does not use cookies, third-party analytics, ad pixels, or cross-site tracking. Server and hosting providers may process standard request logs needed to operate and secure the site.

Deleting data

You can delete saved receipts in the app. Because Radish does not require an account, there is no Radish account to delete.
